To young people who have enjoyed
camping at Wawenock for over 90 years, there comes something of
greater worth than just a host of "good times", skills, a coat of tan
or some highly prized trophy. More cherished is a store of precious
memories, acquired at an impressionable age - a deepening appreciation
of the more worthwhile things in life - a feeling for truth and
honesty in thinking and doing - the give and take of cabin living. We
want to help each person develop her best self through group
interaction in our camp family.
