Exciting News For Wawenock

 

100th Anniversary!

(Please RSVP using your Anniversary postcard by JUNE 1st)

July 31st and August 1st, 2010

 We are so excited to welcome you to Camp in celebration of Wawenock’s 100 years as an educational summer experience for children. The current campers and staff are planning for your arrival! Below is the program of activities. (Please note that the time-frame is set but some details of the program may be subject to change.)

 

Saturday July 31st

9am-10am     Registration

10am-12pm     See Camp in action... Visit all your favorite activities

                       Vanguard Drill in Riding Ring

                       Art Exhibits in Owaissa and the Pottery Shop

12:30pm          Luncheon: locations, by era, on Owaissa lawn, Middler Hill and beach area.

1:30pm            Everyone to the lawn of Owissa for cutting of the Anniversary Cake, singing, meeting & greeting, etc.

2:30-4:30pm    See Camp in action... Visit all your favorite activities

                       Music, Drama & Dance Performances in Ussher Lodge

4:30pm            Swimming in Sebago with Your Family

 

Sunday August 1st

9am-10am     Registration and catching up with your friends!

10am-12pm    Open house in all activities - This is your opportunity to participate in your favorite areas! 

                     Old Movies and Camp Slide Presentations in Owaissa and Ussher lodge

12:30pm        Luncheon: locations, by era, on Owaissa lawn, Middler Hill and beach area.

1:30pm          ‘Wawenock Spirit Never Dies’… Sing-Along on the Lawn of Owaissa

     (We are counting on you to teach your children ‘Wawenock Spirit Never Dies...’, ‘C-A-M-P Wawenock’ – and many others!)

2:00pm           Campers' Rest Hour - Visitors continue Meeting & Greeting, Making Connections

3:00pm           Tribe Meet - please view from Senior Row or lawn of Owaissa

4:30pm           Swimming in Sebago with your family

7:00pm           Vespers on 'The Images' - including Hawaiian Lullaby and ending with, 'Goodnight, we sing goodnight'... and 'Taps'
